It was our second evening with Derrick, a person whom Dave has apparantly painted a lot. I spent some time looking at the watercolor sketches in Dave’s pad of paper, and saw quite a few of Derrick — poses I didn’t recognize. I think looking at those paintings inspired me becuase in the final pose I was able to find blues and greens in Derreck, which had been very difficult for me to do before. I quite like the long pose painting I did last night. The 20 minute is okay as well.
