This week I’ve been creating a mothermold for Agador II’s rubber mold. The purpose of the mothermold is the support the rubber. When the rubber mold is just hanging around, the mothermold prevents it from collapsing and losing its form. When I cast in the rubber mold, the mothermold will prevent it from wiggling around and give it support from the weight of the casting material.
