For the exhibit that we have coming up in February, the painter Susan Solomon and I decided to each make a piece of art modeled after one of the other’s. I chose a painting by Susan of a black silhouette of crows in a tree against a dark red sunset. I transformed it by making a papercut of white against copper. Her painting is called “Choir” so I called mine “White and Copper Choir.”
