The text for this papercut (which is also set as a song) comes from Psalm 27, a psalm for the days of awe, and translates to:
“One thing I ask of Adonai, that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of Adonai all the days of my life,
to behold the graciousness/pleasantness of Adonai, and to visit early in the temple.”
I have been pondering what this means, to “dwell in the house of Adonai.”
