After 5 weeks of somewhat painful sitting, Christian bid a grateful farewell yesterday evening. Last night, I sculpted facial features, hair, and toes, and put some refining touches on hands/foot, arms, and neck. The sculpture is officially done, though there is some more work that I’d like to do on it before it is cast. I want to do some work on the calves and right foot, as well as make a proper seat for him to sit on. But I love how he looks! This was an extremely enjoyable sculpture to make.
